Description: Three well presented flowers and four buds on one 65.0-cm, branching inflorescences; sepals and petals yellow, dorsal sepal tessellated orange-red and margins broadly overlaid orange-red, petals overlaid, veined and puberulent orange-red, coalescing distally, lightly hirsute basally, pubescent marginally; pouch yellow overlaid orange-red, rim slightly crisped inner rim and interior spotted orange red; staminode yellow, red pubescence centrally and on proximal margin; substance medium; texture satiny, dorsal sepal crystalline; newer flowers more blushed pink.

Description: Fourteen flowers and five buds on one strong, upright branched 95.0-cm inflorescence; sepals and petals gold-yellow overlaid deep chestnut red, margins and random proximal blotches and sparse distal bars gold-yellow, margin tightly undulated; lip dark orange-red, callus gold-yellow, lateral margins fimbriate, dark orange-red, two apical teeth blotched dark orange-red; column cream, basally blotched dark chestnut red, distally overlaid deep chestnut red with two small gold eye-like spots, two large wings flared out from stigma, chestnut red, centrally yellow, proximal margins yellow, anther cap cream, margin chestnut red, midline chestnut red; substance hard; texture glossy.

Description: Eight star-shaped, well-balanced flowers on two, up to 25.5-cm, branched, sequentially flowered inflorescences and two mature inflorescences with emerging buds born on a monopodal 3.0-cm tall plant, grown in a 7.5-cm clear plastic pot containing New Zealand Sphagnum moss; the plant, bearing four, up to 15.0-cm long and 7.0-cm wide elliptic-obovate, retuse leaves, petiole wrapping around slightly compressed cylindrical stem; racemes originate below oldest leaf; sepals and petals white, randomly spotted brown centrally; lip white, side lobes yellow centrally, midlobe centrally overlaid coerulea, distally finely hirsute, coerulea apically; column and anther cap white; substance very firm; texture satiny; Country of origin – Indonesia, island near Papua New Guinea; SITF identification required; CHM was awarded for the new color form.
